Virtuoso Baroque music from the continent

Performing on period instruments, Musica Viva has a reputation for vibrant presentation and engaging communication of the Baroque repertoire. The group has appeared around London and the South-East, notably at St. Martin-in-the-Fields, Pashley Manor Gardens in Sussex and last year at Cadogan Hall. The leader of this trio group, Heather Tomala, spent her early years acquiring her musical skills in the Guildford area and her career often brings her back onto home turf.

The programme will include

Georg Philipp Telemann: Trio Sonata in B flat major; Nicolas Chédeville: Sonata in G minor from Il Pastor Fido;

Johann Sebastian Bach: Organ Trio in C major, BWV 530; Arcangelo Corelli: Variations on La Follia, Op.5 No.12

Please note that this concert will take place in the Guildhall not the Electric Theatre
