Jazz Lunch

After his ‘sell-out’ events in GSMF 2006, 2008 and 2010, Jimmy Hastings and his Quartet will be returning to The Electric Theatre which will again be arranged ‘café’ style with tables and chairs. Come between 12.30pm and 2.00pm and enjoy the jazz quartet with your lunch and drinks from the Al Fresco Café Bar or bring the lunch you would normally eat at your desk.

Jimmy Hastings (tenor saxophone/flute) worked with the late great Humphrey Lyttelton and teaches jazz saxophone at Thames Valley University. He continues to be a member of Humphrey Lyttelton’s band which is still going strong.

Today he is joined by John Horler on piano, Dave Chamberlain on bass and Trevor Tomkins on drums.

So why not take a break, sit back and enjoy some fantastic music including jazz standards and more unfamiliar pieces.
